Coastal Bridge has a need for an Asphalt Plant Operator to be based out of our Port Allen Plant location with some time spent in Convent and Lafayette, LA locations.
Job Request:
Candidate will be responsible for plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving. Additional responsibilities include: Coordinate plant activities through the planning with field managers to insure the production objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner. Monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards. Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. Maintain preventative maintenance programs. Other duties as needed.

Operate pile drivers mounted on skids, barges, crawler treads, or locomotive cranes to drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundations of structures, such as buildings, bridges, and piers.
Job Request:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Clean, lubricate, and refill equipment. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Drive pilings to provide support for bridges or other structures, using heavy equipment with a pile driver head. Move hand and foot levers of hoisting equipment to position piling leads, hoist piling into leads, and position hammers over pilings.
